Some people thrive on the chaos of the holiday season, others find it all very stressful. For the residents of our BLVD apartment community that fit into the latter category, we would like to offer some tips about keeping your health and fitness as well as your sanity through the crazy holiday season
- Donate – many people are disenfranchised by the commercialism of the holidays and feel the true meaning of the season has been lost. Try donating your time or money to local charities and see if that renews your faith in the spirit of the season and other people.
- Indulge - don’t throw your healthy diet out completely, but let yourself off the hook a bit and enjoy some of the sweet treats of the season.
- Keep up the exercise – the hectic schedule and inclement weather of the holidays may make it easy for you find excuses not to exercise. Keep up your routine. It will not only protect you from the excesses of the season, but it is also a great way to relieve stress.
